For the last 16 years my primary occupation has been art, in many forms. For the last 7 years I've narrowed it down to jewelry. Never one to focus, I currently create in several different styles.
These range from a traditional style with semi-precious stones set in silver, to a very unique series which I call "Obitrary Art", a mix of cosmic forms and mysterious gadgetry, created with silver, copper and brass.
My work employs a variety of techniques and tools. My first love is traditional silver smithing with saws, files, torches and buffing machines. A newer medium is metal clay, which is Fine Silver in clay form. When the work is completed, the piece is kiln-fired and emerges as metal.
I love the variety and the continual surprise that result from the process which turns the adventures in my mind into the tangible reality of stone and metal.
